Haanpaa Group joins Responsible Care Program
Haanpaa Group has joined the Responsible Care program sponsored by the ECTA, European Chemical Transport Association and commits itself to the principles of sustainable development with a group of European logistics companies serving chemical industry.
Haanpaa Group has joined on June 3, 2009 the Responsible Care program sponsored by the ECTA, European Chemical Transport Association. By signing the commitment to the Responsible Care and the accession documents to the ECTA Responsible Care Scheme Haanpaa Group joins the Responsible Care program and commits itself to the principles of sustainable development with a group of European logistics companies serving chemical industry.
Haanpaa Group has been a member of the ECTA Board of Directors since the start of ECTA ten years ago and ensures the expertise of the Northern european transport industry is acknowledged and incorporated in the many ECTA initiatives in Health, Safety and Environment.

The Responsible Care scheme which was developed by the chemical industry over many years is since February 2009 also implemented by ECTA as supply chain association for the European chemical transport industry. In February ECTA organised in Barcelona its first Conference on Responsible Care in chemical transports in Europe and at this time already 19 major transport companies signed up as early adopters of the Responsible Care scheme.
